Changes are happening in Eden Prairie. So many that I’ll be sharing more details in the coming weeks. The city hosted an excellent event for realtors on the LRT & other citywide construction projects. If you own a home and are contemplating senior housing it is a great time to look at these and many other options.
Smith Village will offer apartments, Applewood Point Senior Cooperative (100 units) & Townhouses (6). This development is slated for the area next to Smith Cafe with some existing businesses being taken down. Construction hasn’t started.
Prairie Bluffs Senior Living offers a spectrum of care & project is underway. This is off of 169 & Pioneer Trail. A campus of 120 units, with some having balconies. We have been watching this project raise up on this undeveloped land this past year. A great option for Bloomington & EP residents wanting to move but stay in their familiar community. Available in summer 2019.
Southview Senior living is situated between the EP library & Applebees. On Franlo Road. Planning to open in the Fall of 2019.
Castle Ridge is going to be redeveloped into a 5 story buildings serving 274 Senior Units.
