Great article! As a Gen Xer in the same boat as these couples, I could identify. I bought a townhouse at the peak and then got married and we needed to sell one of our two homes. The loss was a tough pill to swallow. We initially sold contract for deed and the buyers just paid off the balloon payment this month.
